A metal house in Cyprus is a permanent dwelling built on an engineered light-gauge steel frame instead of a cast concrete skeleton. The frame is manufactured in a factory, galvanised against corrosion, and assembled on a conventional foundation on your plot. Once the walls, insulation and finishes are complete it looks, feels and is legally treated like any other house — with a title deed, a building permit and a mortgage if you need one.
It is not a container conversion, a transportable cabin or a temporary structure. Those are a different product aimed at a different budget, and most of the disappointment people associate with 'metal buildings' comes from confusing the two. Every home we deliver is a permitted permanent residence.
Metal frame house or metal building?
People search for both, but they are different things. A metal frame house (in Greek μεταλλική οικία) is a home: insulated to an energy target, finished inside and out, permitted for residential use and issued a title deed. A metal building or metal structure (μεταλλική κατασκευή) is a steel-framed building for other uses — storage, workshops, garages, canopies or commercial space.
